UP elections: PM Modi and senior leaders interact with party workers in Varanasi; asks them to make their city clean

Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today interacted with the party workers of his parliamentary constituency Varanasi in view of the upcoming elections and asked them to meet every individual in their region and explain to them the value of their franchise. It was Prime Minister’s first interaction with party workers after announcement of the poll dates in Uttar Pradesh which was conducted in virtual mode.During his virtual interaction on the namo app, PM Narendra Modi discussed various development projects going on in Varanasi with the party workers and ask them to make their city clean. He appealed them to follow covid related guidelines while canvassing for the party. Prime Minister said that those people who are coming to see the new Kashi Vishwanath Dham should be taken by party workers to the other prominent places of the city like Kabir Chauraha and Sant Ravidas temple so that they can see what government has done to develop these places. In other political activities, Senior BJP leader and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath visited party president Jagat Prakash Nadda at his residence in New Delhi in view of the poll Preparedness of the party in the state. Bhartiya Janata Party today made public the number of criminal cases filed on its candidates of the first phase of elections in the state as per the guidelines of election commission. Other political parties have also intensified their campaigning. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will virtually interact with party workers today at 4:00 p.m.
