Pakistan beat New Zealand by 5 wickets; South Africa defeat West Indies by 8 wickets in Super-12 stage of T-20 World Cup.

In the Men’s T-20 Cricket World Cup, Pakistan beat New Zealand by five wickets at Sharjah Cricket Stadium last night to pick up their second straight win in the Super-12 stage. Put in to bat, New Zealand were restricted to 134 for eight. Pakistan completed the task with eight balls to spare.

Earlier, South Africa defeated the West Indies by eight wickets in Dubai. Chasing a target of 144 runs, Proteas achieved it in 18.2 overs. Caribbeans made 143 for the loss of eight wickets.

All India Radio is broadcasting ball-by-ball commentary of the World Cup matches.

Today, England will face Bangladesh at 3.30 p.m. and Scotland will take on Namibia at 7.30 p.m. Both the matches will be played in Abu Dhabi.
